Happy Runner

Nothing makes Raf more happy than a good run! Today he had three runs. This morning with the boys, then a run around a beautiful park at the cemetery up the road, and finally, after our family run, with the boys again. He is just so joyous when he starts to pick up the speed. His head goes back, his eyes are half shut, and he grits his teeth. He runs and he skips and he jumps... and then he asks to a ride on my shoulders when he gets a wee bit tired.

  2. Julie, we were JUST talking about that! He would run all day long if he could. I think he takes after his mama! We'll try and find a little race at one of the ones Rich has planned. I am thinking of doing some 5ks soon, and was even considering walk/running a half marathon in a month or so.

  3. We have some little 1 milers that are very parent friendly if a parent ends up carrying a toddler for part of it. I ran-walked a half marathon at 30 weeks with Jocelyn and it wasn't bad other than a little bit of round ligament pain that went away. She slept for most of it and then woke up for pizza afterward (she's my girl).
