Poppet On Film: Part Two

In this riveting clip you can see the 4D parts... it's pretty amazing to see how he wraps his hands around the umbilical cord. And, wow, there is no mistaking that he's a little 'boy'!

  1. Hi Rafi! You are so gorgeous.

wow, that 4D bit is pretty incredible. I love how it comes into focus - all weird and impossible to tell what's what, and then suddenly there he is, you can see his features and his tiny hands...

also the umbilical cord is really beautiful. Who'd have thought?!

I love seeing this. Thank you so much, honey.

  6. It was truly amazing. I was so surprised when the sonographer turned the 4D machine on. And to see that detail! Wow, it's just stunning to think that there's a little person in there, who's just 24 weeks in gestational weeks. WHilst I am not a huge fan of all the ultrasounds, I can't help but admit that I'm quite excited for the 28 week scan!!

  7. And also - I can only assume that's his heart we can see pumping away? What an amazing, amazing thing. His little heart. You can see both chambers and everything... Laura and I just watched it together :)

    love you

  8. Fi, it IS the heart! You should see all the other things on the scan... you could see his little perfectly formed spin in the last one. And you should see his stomach :) It has grown exponentially in just 5 weeks!! They also do this amazing thing when they look at the different heart chambers and look at the blood flow - which comes up in various colors. They're also looking closely at the placenta (one of the things that can be effected by lupus) and umbilical cord.. and as they were measuring the blood flow the little guy kicked the umbilical cord and it kept messing up the measurements! I'll have to post more footage :)

Aw, fi, I so wish you were closer.

    Love to you and Laura.

  10. Aw, Lou, he is a real dinky dink! In fact I lay awake at 2:30am this morning, simply unable to get back to sleep because he was doing somersaults in there! A sign of things to come...!

Miss you. So wish you were in the States, my friend.

    Love, A
