Hatts is growing like a weed, though not at the incredible rate of her brothers. Today, at almost 3 weeks old, she weighed in at 7 pounds 15 ounces, more than a pound over her birth weight. She has also grown an inch - measuring in at 21 inches - and her head is very dainty compared to her big headed brothers (smaller than the 50th percentile). She is doing great. I'll write a proper update on her heart issues soon, but for now I'll say that mostly everything looks good. There is NO stenosis (weeks of terrible stress.. gah) though there are other potential issues. That said we're not dwelling on it as we won't know more until she's a bit bigger (we have a repeat echo when she turns 6 months and Raf will have one at the same time).
She's a very laid back little baby - and she sleeps a LOT (though not necessarily at night!). She is most happy when she's lying on someone or in the moby, which is just as well since she's in there a lot as I run around with the boys. She really is a sweetheart.
We're a bit unsure what we're going to do about childcare come the fall. We currently do a nanny share with some friends of ours, but sadly they're moving and since they're the primary family for our nanny share, I'm not sure what we will do. Thankfully we have some time to work out a plan...
