Still so much of our Costa Rica trip to blog about! One of our most favorite places was Llanes de Cortez, a waterfall just outside of Liberia. It's a spot frequented by locals, and a bit tricky to find as it's off the highway, without any real sign posting. But we managed to find it, and after a little hike down from a carpark where you pay a donation, we found the most beautiful spot. What a treat.

Raf swam out to the actual waterfall, and I have to admit that swimming on my back away from the falling water was one of the most magical moments of my life. It was serene.
It wasn't too busy and the boys had fun playing games.
And Hatts and I hung out in the shade whilst they played.
Glorious. We'll definitely return.
