The fickle threes...

The first thing Raf said to me, as he opened his eyes: "I love you sooooo much, mummy. I love you the best". Half an hour later, after asking him to drink his shake at the table and saying no to a bit of telly, he said, "I don't love you anymore', and turned his back on me! I think there is a lot of 'I'm not your friend any more' at school, and he's absolutely learned the emotional impact of such sentiments. He's such a monkey.

  1. ohhh - I hear you sister!!!! I live in this world with a preteen Gracie. She finds it so hard to navigate the emotional journey of hormones, testing boundaries and socialised behaviour patterns that she sees among her peers. Poor kiddos! (No scrap that - poor bloody mummies!!!!!),
