Otter Pond

We've had a lovely weekend, and I think Rich may write a post later! But just a quick video upload. On Friday we headed to the local trail where there's a beautiful pond. I went in for a swim and we popped Raf to play in the mud/sand and in he followed! He loves water. We headed to Sebago Lake on Saturday and he thoroughly enjoyed himself splashing in the water (pics to come soon).

Is it odd to think that I hear his accent already? I am sure I hear "Mummy", and I thought I heard "He-ah" (here) in one from earlier in the week.

I love, love these video bits.

  3. these make me smile so much. He doesn;t even care that it's cold - the sheer joy of it makes it irrelevant for him. So cute. Also, I love hearing your voice and your cute giggle. You have the most infectious laughs/giggles.

    miss you xx

  4. Hi Ania, so lovely to see your comments, as always. And I have to say that I was very pleased to hear that you detected a little English accent. I do think he coos in English. Rich and I are back and forth about whether Raf is saying Mummy...He also seems to be saying 'baby' an awful lot.

    He LOVES water Raami!

Lou, he is just such a joyous boy! He walks around smiling and cooing. Sometimes I am just overwhelmed with how much I feel toward this poppet.

  5. When Little Miss was very small, I found it adorable when she would espy a "baby" (mind you, she started this before she hit one, yet the target of that tiny index finger could range from ages newborn to two), point and say/ask "Beh-beh?".

    I love that you're a mom.
