Never known a boy like it

We´re in Spain at the moment. Very sadly Rafi´s grandpa, my dad, `passed away yesterday. We´re of course devastated by the loss, and especially for Rafi who loved his grandpa very much. My parents were getting ready to fly to join us for the holidays, and it was all my dad could talk about these last couple of weeks following an illness. My dad was incredibly kind and we were very, very close. He would always say, when talking about Raf, ´I´ve never known a boy like it´.

Very, very sad times.

  1. It's so wonderful that your dad loved Raf so much. I'm keeping you and your family in my thoughts. It's great to have pictures of the two of them together, to have these quotes so Raf can grow up with a reminder of his grandpa.

  4. I feel so sad hon. I know that even if Rafi can't remember his granddad that he left footprints in raf's heart that can't be undone. He will live with the love your dad infused in him. My heart is aching for you all. I am just a hop across the pond holding you close and loving you. X

  5. What a sweet post, Alex. I am so glad that Raf and your dad got to know one another during their lives, though of course it should have been for longer. But it must be nice to know how much joy Raf brought your dad and how positively your dad's adoration has influenced Raf as well.

So very, very sorry for all of you. xoxoxoxo
