One of our favourite words of Rafi's and we know it's one of his favourite words is 'Juice!' From early morning, to bedtime he has acquired a taste of juice and will try many times to get some with repeated calls of 'juice!' We obviously try to manage the juice consumption and intersperse it with water and soy milk - though we have caught him tipping milk into the sink. The juice itself is either apple juice which we water down since its quite strong or raspberry ice tea - and he likes both - and will go through it quickly either followed by thrusting his cup at you with cries of 'juice, juice' or haranguing us in the kitchen until we open the fridge and pour some juice with our words 'this is the last bit until tomorrow....'

  1. Aw, what a cutie. Do you have a veggie juicer? Maybe you can make him some exciting new drinks! Though it sounds like he's quite pleased with the ones he has.

  2. This is too funny. I feel like I could've written this post myself. I can see why Rafi and Sawyer are such great pals. Sawyer used to love his soy or almond milk and now it is all about the juice! We're doing the same thing - mixing it with water, but are still disappointed he's getting so much more sugar than he used to. His poor teeth. :(

  3. Great idea, Jen! Raf still does drink his green smoothie in the morning but he is juice mad! Rich is MUCH more permissive with the juice than me....!

Karla, we definitely feel your pain. We comfort ourselves in that he doesn't tend to consume sugar other than in juice. Famous last words, of course!
