We'll get there... just a few days of adverting to catch up on. Day 17 was a much anticipated one... a train ride with santa. Not our usual one so a new advent, which the children were very excited about.
A quick stop for donuts, of course.
And then some shopping and train watching while we waited for our train.
And then we were off.
I see someone coming....
After a quick hello with Santa we sat back and enjoyed the ride...
and got into some mischief.
Afterwards we enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies (we skipped the crafts!) and Harriet finally learned to dab!
Such a lovely time in Boothbay. En route home we stopped off at Freeport to see if we could glimpse the reindeer (we'd missed them the first time around)... and we did!
We also warmed up in the 'warming hut' and wrote and sent more letters to santa... just in case.
Another quick glimpse... really great day.
