A Titanic Day!

Rafi has previously shown a self-generated interest in the Titanic - he has read about it in a few books and watched quite a few times a documentary that tries to prove what factors contributed to it's demise. So when we found out an exhibition of artifacts bought up from the Titanic was coming to Portland, off we went (minus Mum...)

It was really wonderful to see these historical artifacts up close - and despite having a few sinking feelings myself as I chased three kids around a darkened room with irreplaceable objects in glass cases - the kids all enjoyed themselves. On a sad note - all three passengers we were assigned with their ticket did not survive the sinking 104 years ago...
