Reading to Charlie...

As we count down to Charlie entering kindergarten - we are trying to get him more into longer books with chapters and developing storylines. Hence, on a recent visit to a bookshop we spotted a classic - and Roald Dahl to boot!

The Return to Playgroup!

This Mon/Wed am playgroup use to be a fairly regular occurrence with Raf and Charlie. Working a more flexible schedule then allowed me to go and bear witness to utter mania and learning to share moments..."Why do you want the bus (with one wheel), now? The little girl was playing with it..." With Hatts she has been attending with the nanny, but this was my first time with her - and it was a lot of fun to see her go and play with the same toys as the boys from 3-4 years ago!

The Pup is 13!

Kiltie turned 13 last week - and shows very little sign of slowing down. Born in Lynch, Nebraska - he was our first addition to our family! A great Westie!!

Kids Outside...

Nothing is better than seeing kids play outside. This photograph was taken before a late season snowstorm dropped more than a foot of snow - more expected tomorrow...

Snowboarder

Raf tried snowboarding on our local sledging hill. This is his second run down... can't believe how well he did! Think the skateboarding helped!
